Nuneaton and District Catholic Fellowship
The Nuneaton and District Catholic Fellowship (NDCF) is a National charity, which was originally founded as the Catholic Handicapped Children's Fellowship (CHCF) by Elizabeth Fitzroy in 1956. She recognised that the spiritual welfare of disabled children, particularly those with mental health problems, as well as their families, needs to be nurtured within the Church. Our local NDCF branch organises pilgrimages, trips, social events and many different activitiesfor those with physical, learning and sensory difficulties, and their families, supporting children and adults alike.

Chinthowa Development Trust
The Chinthowa Development Trust is a small charity based in North Warwickshire that works in Malawi, Africa. Its primary function is the care of orphans within the villages of Chinthowa, Mpani, Njolo and Majiga located some 50 miles west of the capital of Lilongwe. Its volunteers work for free, are not paid salaries or expenses and every penny donated goes to the benefit of the villages and orphans.

Shrines

Lourdes in France
This is where Our Lady appeared to St Bernadette in 1858. To have a look at what's happening now at the shrine, try the web cam. The world's most visited Marian shrine.

The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, in Norfolk
This is England's national shrine to the Mother of the Lord. A great mediaeval shrine grew up after Our Lady appeared in 1061 to the lady of the manor. It was destroyed at the reformation, but a faithful few kept its memory alive and organised pilgrimage began again in the early 20th century. We make an annual pilgrimage to this holy place. The Shrine of Our Lady of Knock in County Mayo
This is Ireland's great place of pilgrimage to Our Lady. She appeared there in 1879.

Carfin in the Diocese of Motherwell
This is Scotland's national shrine to Our Lady.

Our Lady of the Taper, in Cardigan
This is the national shrine of Our Lady in Wales. This has a long history.

Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal
This is the shrine established where three little shepherd children saw apparitions of Our Lady in 1917. Parishioners visited here in 2009.
